The Convergent Design SD-Connect is a stand-alone all in one standard definition video converter. The SD-Connect features all standard analogue and digital video formats including:
• Composite Video
• Component Video
• S-Video
• SDI (SMPTE 259M-C) with embedded audio (SMPTE 272M-A) I/O
• 1394 Firewire DV video (DV25)

The SD-Connect is the perfect solution for DV Based Non-Linear Editing (NLE) using either a Betacam or Digibeta Deck with:
• Adobe Premiere
• Apple Final Cut Pro
• Avid Xpress DV
• NewsCutter
• Sony Vegas Video

The SD-Connect also features four channel audio in and out with the following formats:
• Balanced and Unbalanced Analogue
